Clika- Summer 2023 and Winter 2024

Cosas de la Clika (Clika) was my first feature film back in mid 2023 with reshoots going up to mid 2024. Clika was the first narrative project of record label Rancho Humilde. Growing with the production company as the shoot goes along was an interesting experience and taught me a lot about the logistics and communications that go behind running a production and production company. This was a low-budget film based on some true events the main actor and one of the main artists from the label has gone through. It included a lot of adapting to the locations we had, limited resources, and fabrication. My favorite set in this movie is Chela’s room- it was a mix of latin influence and modern whimsy and individuality that American youth grew up with. Taking the best of both worlds and creating an environment that all audiences find comforting.
